My series “looking out the window” of 6 brooches and 1 necklace from my recent Postgraduate studies at the Massana school in Barcelona will be soon presented at this group exhibition in Melbourne. I am very happy and honoured to have been selected to be part of this show. It takes place during the Radiant Pavilion: Melbourne Contemporary Jewellery and Object Biennial that runs from 26 August to 3 September. This one week event will present 80 different presentations all over the city: exhibitions, conferences, workshops, performances and installations… Part of these presentations is the forum MakingOut which is presented in partnership with RMIT University School of Art, the National Gallery of Victoria and Radiant Pavilion.
Afterwards, the WAnt exhbition will be traveling: it will be presented in 2018 in Western Australia in Ellenbrook and Bunbury.
Ma série de 6 broches et 1 collier, intitulée “en regardant par la fenêtre”, faite pendant mon diplôme supérieur d’arts appliqués à l’école Massana de Barcelone, sera bientôt présentée dans cette exposition de groupe à Melbourne. Je suis très heureuse et fière d’avoir été sélectionnée pour faire partie de ce show. Il aura lieu pendant le Radiant Pavillon : la biennale du bijou et de l’objet contemporain à Melbourne. Celle-ci a lieu du 26 août au 3 septembre. Cet évènement d’une semaine est fait de 80 présentations différentes dans la ville : expositions, conférences, ateliers, performances et installations… Le forum MakingOut fait partie de ces présentations et est organisé en partenariat avec l’université de RMIT, la Galerie Nationale de Victoria et le Radiant Pavilion.
L’exposition Want voyagera ensuite: elle sera présentée en 2018 en Australie Occidentale à Ellenbrook et Bunbury.
Le titre de l’exposition « WAnt » est un jeu de mot entre WA qui l’acronyme pour Western Australia, et le verbe « to want » qui veut dire vouloir.
