I am feeling proud to have won the award for ‘addressing the theme most successfully’ at the Wear/Ware/Where exhibition ending this Sunday. It has been a very interesting and enjoyable experience to develop this body of work with the Passport serie.

Je me sens fière d’avoir gagné le prix pour avoir ‘traité le sujet du thème avec le plus de succès’ à l’exposition Wear/Ware/Where qui se termine ce dimanche. Cela a été une expérience très intéressante et plaisante de faire cette série Passeport.

Munich U-Bahn & Paris Metro

This serie of earrings was made in response to the ‘Marken-Schmuck’ exhibition theme. I interpreted the meaning of ‘stamp’ as in ‘to create a mark by pressing a special tool against a surface’. When we validate our transport tickets, a location, date & time is stamped on the ticket.

Cette série de boucles d’oreilles a été créé en réponse au thème de l’exposition ‘Marken-Schmuck’. J’ai interprété la signification de ‘timbre’ dans le sens de ‘imprimer une marque, un cachet sur un document’. Quand nous validons notre ticket de transport, un timbre indiquant le lieu, la date et l’heure est imprimé sur le billet.
